In mid December a piano student encouraged her instructor, Anastasia to participate in the Morristown talent show. Finalists chosen from the Morristown talent show will go on to perform at the Maio Performing Arts Center in 2015. After receiving an email with notification that Anastasia had been selected an article was released on December 16th through NJ.com announcing the list of finalists selected for the upcoming 2015 performance. Her performance playing music by Chopin on piano secured her a seat in the community’s highly anticipated event, Morristown’s Got Talent.
The event will be Feb. 25 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown. Tickets go on sale early next year through MPAC, and in past years, have often sold out. Last year the event raised more than $70,000 for the Morris Educational Foundation.
